By accessing or using the EduCast Fishing website ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, users, teachers, coaches, and other individuals who access or use the Site.

2. Description of Service

EduCast Fishing provides a web-based platform for managing youth fishing tournament events, including student registration, school coordination, standings tracking, photo galleries, and event-related content. The Site is intended for use by educators, coaches, and event organizers.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the Site require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used inappropriately.

4. Teacher & Coach Responsibilities

Teachers and coaches who register students for events through the Site represent and warrant that:

• They are authorized by their school or organization to register students
• All students registered are 13 years of age or older
• They have obtained any necessary permissions or consent from parents, guardians, or school administration for student participation
• The information submitted for each student is accurate and up to date

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent registration information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or site systems
• Upload or transmit harmful content, including malware or offensive material
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of EduCast Fishing or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our express written permission.

7. User-Submitted Content

By submitting content to the Site (including registration data, photos, and other materials), you grant EduCast Fishing a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and publish that content in connection with operating the Site and promoting EduCast Fishing events. This includes the public display of tournament standings, results, awards, and event photos.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Site.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduCast Fishing and its organizers, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

10. Event Participation

Use of the Site for event registration does not guarantee participation in any EduCast Fishing event. Event participation is subject to availability, eligibility requirements, and approval by event organizers. EduCast Fishing reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events at its discretion.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
